– ALS United Mid-Atlantic:  http://www.alsphiladelphia.org – The ALS Association’s mission is to “lead and fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy”.   The Philadelphia chapter also provides support and resources to those and their families affected by ALS.

– National Liberty Museum: http://www.libertymuseum.org  – The National Liberty Museum is dedicated to preserving America’s heritage and  to the nurturing of good character, civic responsibility, and respect for all people.  They are located in the heart of historic Philadelphia with 78 exhibits, 179 works of art, and contains stories of over 2,000 heroes.   The museum prides itself in the influence of young individuals who can make a difference in the world.
